You must submit a copy of your thesis to the BCUL’s Unithèque site to be awarded your doctorate, according to the UNIL rules and the arrangements for your Faculty, after having filled your online diploma request beforehand. Your thesis submission must include:
- 3 copies of your thesis (thermal binding, no spirals) with imprimatur (authorisation to publish)
- 1 copies of the Avis de dépôt de thèse (Thesis deposit form), completed and signed
- 1 copies of the Contrat de diffusion électronique (Electronic publication contract), completed and signed, if your thesis is to be published on the Lausanne academic server (SERVAL)
Two copies are retained at the BCUL and the third is sent to the Swiss National Library in Bern.
Theses can be submitted in person at the Unithèque desk during opening hours or sent to the Theses Department by registered post.
