New youtube channel dedicated to Vaud musicians

With the aim of promoting the musical heritage of the Canton of Vaud, La Phonothèque offers you thematic and occasional playlists of historical and new works. Not only will you find the musicians and groups you love, but you’ll also be able to make some great discoveries!

All musical genres are represented: classical music (composers and performers), jazz, chanson, contemporary music, popular music and world music.

Richness and diversity, that’s what comes to mind when listening to these videos. The canton of Vaud is teeming with artists, most of whom are fortunate enough to be able to perform on local and even international stages. Many also make records, either CDs or vinyl, and sometimes both. As part of its heritage mission, the Phonothèque regularly acquires new releases from local musicians, groups and labels. The collection totals some 2,800 records. These records are listed in the Renouvaud catalog. You can also find them by musical genre. Are you a local band or musician?
