Marxism today: 1818 – 2018

In 1818, Karl Marx was born. 200 years later, his theories seem more relevant than ever: denunciation of the evils of a capitalism that ignores the role of the human being, criticism of the concentration of capital in the hands of a few, the distortion between the value of a commodity and the time spent producing it, the indomitable headlong rush to integrate markets on a global scale, political stability blunted by the jolts of one economic crisis after another.

A selection of documents available at the Unithèque will enable you to (re)immerse yourself in the work of this visionary author in many respects. These documents are on display from April 23 to May 6, 2018 at the open-access entrance.
