Let’s get to work! The world of work in comics

Each year, the BDFIL festival explores a major contemporary social issue through the medium of comics. In 2025, the program explores the links between the world of work and the 9th art. To echo this, the BCUL offers a selection of comics on the theme of work.

This selection brings together fictional stories, investigations, historical retrospectives, life stories… Sometimes humorous, comics can take a light-hearted approach to the subject, but they can also transcribe and denounce more violent realities. So many approaches to questioning the meaning of work, its evolution and its future.
