Action Week Against Racism (AWAR) 2022

Action Week Against Racism (AWAR), created at the instigation of the UN to reinforce the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21), is an opportunity to highlight actions that aim to prevent, raise awareness of and combat the various forms of racism, while inviting reflection and dialogue. The State of Vaud has been taking part in ACTS since 2012, notably through the Cantonal Office for the Integration of Foreigners and the Prevention of Racism, which organizes, coordinates and supports events that fall within the framework of this week of actions.
BCU-Lausanne is not to be outdone this year, with librarians at the Riponne and Renens sites offering a selection of documents on these themes. A way of tackling the issue through a variety of approaches, with documents that are accessible to as many people as possible!
