How do we read graffiti in Lausanne today? First appearing in the early 1980s, the practice has gone through several phases, punctuated by the arrival of new styles, but also by the mass arrest of its protagonists.
This walk invites you to discover the vestiges of the emergence of graffiti in Lausanne, its language, its challenges and its current forms. We’ll start with a trip back to 1992, the golden age of Lausanne’s first wave of graffiti.
