Love in LAF
Our rich collection of French-speaking African literature (LAF) often goes unnoticed by the public at the Riponne site, even though it abounds in a wide and varied selection of works by talented French-speaking African authors.
To rectify the situation, we’re offering you the chance to discover LAF through the prism of love. In this strange year of 2020, we thought it would be appropriate to approach this collection through stories brimming with betrayal, jealousy and family secrets, but above all against a backdrop of tenacious love, patiently awaiting its moment of glory!
Let yourself be carried away by these marvelous tales which, amidst a few passages of sadness and suffering, speak above all of hope, of family love, of love for one’s homeland, of the first stirrings of love, and of many other heart-warming things.
