2023: Don’t be afraid of change!

As 2022 draws to a close, the Riponne site is undergoing a metamorphosis. Our collections are moving. We have decided to create two more user-friendly spaces, and to regroup certain collections to create cohesion and harmony in these two “new” spaces:

  • The Salle de la Fontaine has become a space dedicated to the imaginary. Here you’ll find young adult literature, manga, comics, science fiction and fantasy.
  • The Pierre Viret room has become a space that encourages training and learning. Here you’ll find computer manuals, language methods, easy and bilingual reading material, as well as a selection of books to help integration, such as general works on Switzerland, cultural guides and practical works for everyday life. The latter room can also be used on an ad hoc basis for BCUL training workshops and class visits.

As for documentary DVDs, they can now be found on the Agora gallery above the ticket counters. All these changes have taken place without any reduction in workplaces.

We hope you enjoy discovering these new locations!
