The political science collection on the Unithèque site contains over 13,000 physical documents in the open shelves, primarily designed to meet the needs of the university community.
It mainly comprises specialist studies, conference proceedings and methodological works, a third of which are in English.
The Riponne site houses a political science collection aimed at the general public.
The main focus of the collections is on political philosophy, core texts, political doctrines, international relations, public policies, European politics, Swiss politics and economics, environmental questions and political movements.
Documentary DVDs are also available in the open shelves, at the far end of the collection.
A non-exhaustive list covers specialized journals and bibliographies in the field.
We offer an extensive range of digital resources, including databases, online periodicals and e-books.
They include the following:
- The Worldwide Political Science Abstracts database provides bibliographical references and abstracts of almost 3,000 academic journals (60% of which are published outside the USA), as well as books, conference proceedings, theses and reports.
- The International Political Science Abstracts database provides non-evaluative abstracts of articles on political science published in academic journals (and directories) worldwide.
- Complete archives of the Financial Times (1888-2016)
