“Copyright Dough” is a fun tool designed to raise awareness of copyright licenses and exceptions among students, researchers and staff. <\/p>\n\n
This interactive workshop allows participants to put themselves in the shoes of different stakeholders, known as “creators”, “teachers”, “researchers” and “students”, who are then invited to create a model out of clay. While some participants enjoy complete creative freedom, others are inspired by the creations of others, or are tasked with copying another model in its entirety. <\/p>\n\n
Each model is then assigned a copyright license, and participants discuss whether each scenario is “acceptable” or “unacceptable” in terms of copyright licenses and exceptions.<\/p>\n\n
